We are already in Week 5 out 18 of training :O … Wow!! Time flies!
So I’ll just keep it short and sweet today since I am CRAZY busy with work for the next 2-3 days.
Friday: 12 miles (actually it was 11.46) long run along with my new running buddy Corey. It was her first time running with someone else and I think she liked it 🙂 Read all about her take on our long run here.
Happy faces on Friday morning —> Long run was done BEFORE the weekend! What an awesome feeling! Of course we are planning the same for this week 😉
Sunday: Since I had to work this weekend (oh the joy of research….) I thought I might as well run to work Sunday morning for a (slow) shake out 6 mile run. Did about an hour or so, quite relaxed!
I know, I know…. only managed 2 out of my four runs this week…
Well I decided not to beat myself over it! I am doing my best to fit in everything and with work being super challenging these days that was the best I could do 🙂 I know I’ll do better next week!
Weekly mileage: 17.45
Total mileage: 62.57
Weekly cross-training session: 0
I have a training session planned for next weekend along with some friends and I am really looking forward to that! Also I decided some spinning this evening would be perfect for my tired legs 😉
