[Minor freak our ALERT]
My very first marathon is in 96 days…. Just give me a minute to digest that we are already in double digits and then I’ll happily move on to my post….

Ok, I am back 🙂 Hi everyone!
Let’s see how marathon training went for me this past week, shall we? Not too shabby if you ask me 😉
Thursday: what I really meant to do was 8×400 RI 2:00, what I actually did was 4×800 RI 2:00. Now don’t ask why, I just realised what I was doing when I was almost done… Well I guess that is one of the downhills of not doing repeats on the track but honestly I don’t mind 😉
Friday: 9.2 miles long run along the river with my running buddy Corey 🙂 I absolutely ❤ this run! It felt perfect!! Can’t wait for longer long runs!
Saturday: had an awesome bootcamp HIIT style class at 1Rebel along with many blogger friends 🙂 It was really cool and I swear I haven’t sweat like that in a long time! Full review on it will be on the blog soon!!
Also after the class, the weather was waaay to nice to pass on a run so i did 5x1000m RI 3:00 mins repeats in the park 🙂
Sunday: now this was not a smart move on my part… I did a slow (and supposedly easy) 7 miles. I STRUGGLED through every single step of those 7 miles… The heat and humidity was awful along with a very wrong state of mind and the fact that I didn’t realize it had been 4 hours since I had breakfast and I didn’t have a snack before my run… Well, we live and learn right?
All and all i am quite happy with how this week ended. It didn’t start off great as you ‘ve probably noticed I didn’t do any exercise what so ever between Monday and Wednesday but kicked into gear on Thursday 😉 I need to work on spacing out my workouts better! So this is my goal for next week 😀

Weekly cross-training session: 1 (plus some cycling)
