2018 Intentions & SMALL goals every month!

Hi All 🙂

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope you all had an amazing time last night whatever you did. The new year found @mymamus and myself t home, in our PJs drinking champagne (thanks @M&M_taleoftworuns for the raspberry bubbles <3) and watching the fireworks on our wall projector #awesome!

So, most people start the New Year and they speak of resolutions and big changes. Not me… I found out years ago that big changes can be intimidating all at once and they usually dont work (read more about my view on it here).

What do I like? Goals! Small, achievable goals! Another thing that I’d like to try this year is setting one or two small goals EVERY month 🙂 I am not done thinking about those yet since I figured they would have to match whatever my life is looking like at the moment but I do have a few already figured out… Lets see:

January

Quit sugar for 4 weeks – Seeing how I am at the last stretch of my weight loss to reach my goal (130lbs/58kg) I guess its fitting.

Work on a (new) skill – which means start again with my Spanish lessons

BBG (Bikini Body Guides) week 1 -4 (I ve started it like 2 times and I think now is the time to finish it, third time being the charm and all LOL!)

February

Dry month (aka NO alcohol) with the exemption of the 2nd where I am hosting my cheese and wine vol.2 🙂 – see vol. 1 here it was so much fun!

Eat my 5/day veggie portions

BBG week 5 – 8

March

Read at least 3 scientific papers per week

Try Pilates or barre x2 or x3 per week

May

Commute differently – use my bike to get to work every day

June

July

Walk at least 10k steps/ day – seeing that these are the months when I’ll be writing my PhD thesis I NEED to make sure I’ll move at least a little bit…

August

Walk at least 10k steps/ day

September

Walk at least 10k steps/ day

October

Read two books

TAKE A VACATION! (my hand in date is 30/09 so yes, ELLEN TAKE A VACATION!!)

Gratitude journal every night

December

Do one kind thing EVERY day ❤

Clearly as you can see these are all small goals but I am OK with that! Sometimes goals turn into habits and thats what I am banking on here 🙂

  1. I love that you are looking far ahead into the year. Small goals are key! My (superficial and slightly “business” related) goal so far has been to grow my Instagram followers! Kinda lame, but I’d like to connect with more people on that platform. I increased 60 already in the last week, so I’m making progress! It’s fun to see what others are doing in their lives and fitness goals. Other than that, I have a list of home organization goals that I have. Little by little, I will get them done!
